Stuffed Peppers

Ingredients:
2 large red or green bell peppers, cut in half with seeds removed.
½ pound lean ground beef (or ground chicken or turkey)
1 8oz can tomato sauce (approximate 35 calories in ½ cup serving)
½ cup cooked brown rice or barley
Garlic
Basil
Minced Onion

Brown ground meat.
Add in sauce and seasonings (to taste)
Stir in cooked rice

Spoon mixture into pepper halves. Bake at 400 degrees for 45 minutes.

Makes 2 servings (2 pepper halves per serving)
6 points per serving
